2) ALL children in the 1-12 building will need pencil, paper, glue (sticks for younger kids), crayons, colored pencils, folders, scissors, & supply bag or box.**please see teacher or Laura if you need help getting supplies **

PreK-Kinder Student Program 10-2:30pm Cost is $5 per child per school session. This is a split preschool and kindergarten class with curriculum based off the work of Dr. Seuss. We will be covering math, language arts, art, science, and history/geography with age appropriate work and activities. Class is 10am-2:30pm with lunch from 12-12:30pm. Parents are responsible to pick up their child(ren) promptly between 2:30-2:45pm. Children must be potty trained to attend, unless the parents stay for the entire class time.
Yearbook Club is from 9-9:30 and 2:30-3

Chemistry Grades 5-8 $5 class fee We will learn about matter, chemical reactions, molecules, polymers and much more. We will be using The Real Science 4 Kids curriculum by Rebecca W. Keller PHD. The kids will be completing study folders, watching a short video lesson, and mostly likely do experiments every other week.
Supplies: glue sticks, pencil, scissors, crayons, 10 Letter size manilla folders (for study folders)
Creating for YouTube Ages 13+ Creating for YouTube Teens will put together a YouTube channel, learn how to film and edit videos, discuss privacy and safety on the Internet, and learn about different types of YouTubers and video styles.
Supplies: notebook and pen
States & Capitols 1st-5th $5 class fee Class size: no maximum This is a year long class. We will be learning about each state, capital and misc information. We will have hands on activities as well as music and worksheets to help with memorization.
Supplies: Please make sure the kids come to class with a pencil and color pencils each week.
Life Skills 4th and up Learn about balancing a checkbook/bills *learn how to sew a button. Hem a pair of pants and iron. *basic first aid. and basic baby sitting *A balanced diet, shopping for foods price comparisons * Computer safety, Social skills, phone skills *Etiquette, dress for a job and go over resume college essay (depending on ages of the class)
Supplies: Will need a binder first class and a 5lb sack of sugar, mid session. Those who took the class before it will be similar but a tad different.
Flat Stanley 1st-5th Follow the adventures of Flat Stanley as we read and discover why he is flat and where that uniqueness takes him. We will be reading one or more of his books while using the places and times as a springboard for a few hands-on activities.
Supplies: markers, colored pencils, glue, drawing supplies, etc - will be used (usually provided) but no extra costs are anticipated.

Magic Tree House 1st-5th The Magic Treehouse: Merlin Missions #29-42 Recommended age/grades: 7-10 / 2-5th In this class, we will delve further into the adventures of Jack and Annie as they complete quests for Merlin of Camelot. These are longer chapter books (100-120pgs) with more complex storylines so we will focus on one book/2 weeks. Class time will focus on literary elements, some writing, geography, animals & wildlife, myths & legends, as well as science and visual arts through discussions, crafts, videos and more. **It is recommended that the child has read the book BEFORE we discuss it in class. I will post a tentative schedule once class begins.** Supplies: folder with pockets for any papers from class, pencil, scissors, and either crayons or colored pencils.
Life Skills & Science 1st-5th $2 class fee This will combine Life skills and science. We will do some science projects along with learning everyday life skills. *Etiquette and plan a balanced meal *Money awareness *basic first aid *laundry and sewing a button *Social skills, home safety and etc

Demystifying Finance 6th-12th Introducing the basic concepts of budgeting, credit scores and management as well as tax preparation and planning.
Lego Building Club 1st-5th
Armchair Traveler ages 12+ We will explore the world one country at a time. Be prepared to learn about the sights, sounds and flavors of a different country each week.
Lunch 12-12:30pm (bring sack lunch) *due to several children with life threatening allergies to peanuts and tree nuts please do not bring these items to COOP. Thank you.

Brainteasers/Team Building 6th-12th $5 class fee Class size: no maximum Each week we will be doing a different activity. These activities will be brainteasers (puzzles) or team building activities that will require participation. Some will be individual tasks while others may require working with a group.
Supplies: All supplies will be provided.
Cosplay Workshop ages 12+ $5 class fee Students can bring their ideas and supplies and we will actively work on their cosplay character. I
Supplies: will provide basic supplies such as various crafting tools, adhesives, a sewing machine, and serger.
Mighty Girls 1st-5th $5 class fee Girls do not have to be relegated to the role of sidekick or damsel in distress; they can be the leaders, the heroes, the champions that save the day, find the cure, and go on the adventure. To help a new generation of girls to grow and pursue whatever dreams they choose -- to truly be Mighty Girls! In this class we will study a different "Mighty Girl" (both fictional characters, and women from history) each week and do an activity to go along with our lessons.
Dramatic Expression All Ages Dramatic expressions is a class for all age groups that will explore the expression of human emotions and feelings through drama through it history. We will look at dramatic methods from Greek tragedies, marionettes, jesters, minstrels, puppets, storytelling, and more.
(4) Fourth Period 1:30-2:25pm
Exploring Mixed Media Art ages 12+: Students will try their hand at using several different mediums including, but not limited to, charcoal, chalk pastels, stamps and stencils, polymer clay, collage, assemblage, and water color.
Supplies: Box for supplies, colored pencils, drawing pencils, art eraser, charcoal pencils or sticks, small set of chalk pastels, watercolors (tube or cake), paint brushes (assorted sizes), E6000 Adhesive, wet wipes, old hardcover book to alter, apron or old shirt - we're going to get messy.
Dissection 6th-12th $25 class fee Explore biology hands-on using dissection tools! This class is an introduction to anatomical dissection (subsequent sessions will cover advancing techniques and specimens). Topics covered will include: safe and respectful handling of dissection tools and specimens, anatomical terms, the scientific process, and anatomy and physiology of various specimens.
Supplies: students will need a 3-ring binder, colored pencils, pencils, pens, and a device with a camera (optional, but can include smart phone, iPad or iPod, or digital camera).
American Sign Language 1st-5th (older kids and teens are welcome as long as they are respectful! No Fee Beginning ASL (American Sign Language) This class is for kids that were in beginning ASL last year or kids that have no previous experience with ASL. We will start where we started last year but go at a slightly faster pace, adding in new signs as we go. It will be a good review for kids who were in the class last session. I plan to continue teaching ASL for all three sessions this year, building on what we learn as the year progresses.
PE /Health Elementary
Astronomy 1st-5th Astronomy for kids. Learn about telescopes, the planets in our solar system and the stars beyond. Learning through craft projects.
Believe it or Not: An Exploration of Faiths and Religion High School + This class will take an unbiased look at some of the world's major faiths and religions such as Judaism, Hinduism, Christianity, Buddhism, and Islam but also some non-traditional faiths like Wiccan. We will also look at some cults like Jim Jones, Heaven's Gate and the Church of Satan.
